Twelfth Night Performed by the Award-winning Homeschooled Perform It! Stage Company

He loves her.  She loves another man.  But he’s not really a man, he’s a woman.  And does she really think yellow stockings make her pompous servant look hot?  It’s all a giant mix-up. Add in some mischief-makers, dance and music and you’ll go home laughing after watching this riotous show.

Perform It! Young People’s Stage Company will present Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night May 1, 2, and 3 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, May 4 at 2:00 pm at the Village Players’ Theater, Glendon Street in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Perform It! Young People’s Stage Company of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, is one of the few Shakespearean theater companies in the United States exclusively acted by homeschooled young people.  This high-quality stage company began its work in 1995 with a small stage production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and in the next 13 years would receive many accolades, including three Moss Hart Theater Awards and The New Hampshire Theatre Award.

Perform It! has gained a reputation for bringing Shakespeare to rural audiences of all ages in New Hampshire by their unique approach.  Theater director, Jan Helling Croteau, adapts the scripts, adding narration to the story and incorporating music so the plays are vibrant productions for all ages.

Ticket prices are $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 12 and under in advance, and $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children at the door.  Tickets are available at The Country Bookseller in Wolfeboro, or by calling 569-6401, or by emailing performit@verizon.net.
